I’ve had more fun discussing ATL United at work and watching hometown Chattanooga FC in the Open Cup than following European leagues.
MLS isn’t perfect and the talent is below the top European leagues, but the gap is smaller than people think and far smaller than 10 years ago.

Sketchy is an understatement. Very much walking dead vibes in some areas. Been told to ‘go home’ already by a couple unfriendly locals.
Stadium though, unbelievable. One of the best I’ve ever seen from the outside.

It’s weird everyone’s talking about Chattanooga like there aren’t La Liga teams based in cities that are that same size.
