Today we honor ATL legend, Ted Turner. A close friend of PC, they often attended Atlanta Braves games together. Turner was a dedicated supporter of @CarterCenter, presenting PC with this signed jersey honoring their work. His impact on ATL, and the world, will never be forgotten.

One of the most important days of the 1976 Carter campaign was 5/4/1976, the Georgia Democratic Presidential primary. His crew stayed at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Atlanta to watch results come in. He won the primary with 83.44% of the votes. #Carter50

May is #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth. First Lady RC served as chairwoman of the President’s Commission on Mental Health, testifying before Congress regarding mental health legislation. Her unwavering efforts beyond the WH led to the passing of the Mental Health Parity Act in '08.

With the 1976 Texas Dem. primary a couple of days away, Jimmy Carter gave a speech to the Student Bar Association at Southern Methodist Univ. in Dallas. He would win the primary with 47.65% of the votes. #Carter50
