Yeah Wemby is good and everything, but he’s not the only ridiculously skilled person in this arena 🤯

The Cavs are 18-56 on wide open threes in the ECF (32.1%) Josh Hart is 8-21 on wide open threes in the ECF (38.1%)

1/ Just as the Knicks were hunting Mitchell/Harden, the Cavs were hunting Brunson. The only problem: It wasn't as successful. Brunson held Harden to 2-for-6 in G2 and Mitchell to 2-for-4. Also: Zero assists in those situations. Hunting this matchup plays into what the Knicks want: Iso situations, no ball movement, less player movement, late shot clock shots and one shot. Yes it's a good matchup. But Brunson is a good enough defender where the matchup is not tilted like it is the other way. It also takes the Cavs out of when they're at their best when they're getting paint touches, moving the ball and moving bodies. It allows the Knicks to load up their defense and bring help where needed and focus on a single action. The Cavs can't fall victim to the temptation of the matchup trap.
