@GillsInTheBlood Disagree, Akomeah looks a quality player, needs to play to improve and thats why we have him on loan. Mckenzie in midfield is the key, should of brought back in Andy Smith and left out Coleman and brought him on when Little was running on empty on 60 mins due to lack of matches.

It would be very harsh on him given his performance last weekend, but at home I would prefer a back four so I would take Travis Akomeah out of the XI today. Max Clark back in, play a 4-2-3-1 system and get Aaron Rowe & Garath McCleary high & wide. Then let Ethan sit in front to shield, have Armani as a box to box eight with Dacky as the closest one to the centre forward. Make the game about us, be front footed & don’t let them settle in. We won’t know how they’ll play with their managerial sacking three days ago, so be the ones to boss the ball & negate that potential threat of the unknown. #Gills #GFC 💙

@GillsInTheBlood Why not reward the non league teams that get to the third round, lowest rank team get first pick who they want to play and if they wanna be home or away, it don't have to be a draw. I can dream but it would certainly make the draw more interesting and reward the smaller clubs.

NEWS: The Chancellor @RachelReevesMP confirmed to me tonight in @itvMLshow that those whose only income is the State Pension will NOT PAY INCOME TAX - not just they won't do self assessment, there will be no tax to pay during this parliament. This is important as the pension triple lock means the State Pension must rise by at least 2.5% each year. So from 2027 someone whose only income is the full new state pension will earn more than the personal allowance (the amount earnable each year before you pay tax) - so tax would be due. Here is a transcript. ML: Rebecca, says ‘does my 85 year old father, who's living with dementia now have to complete a tax return as his state pension will take him over the personal allowance?’ RR: So if you just have a state pension and you don't have any other pension, we are not going to make you fill in a tax return. ML: Of any type or? RR: Yes. And so I make that commitment for that, for this Parliament. You're right. 2027 looks like the time that it will, cross over. We are working on a solution, as we speak, to ensure that we're not going after tiny amounts of money. ML: but people will have to pay the tax. They just won't have to do a return or will they not have to pay the tax? RR: in this Parliament they won't have to pay the tax. You know, further out about to make any commitments, on that. But we're looking at a simple workaround at the moment. ML: Okay. So I hadn't actually got that from budget. So that's really good to have clarity that they won't be paying the tax. This is far more than was said in the budget speech which was just about not doing an assessment. I went on to ask about edge cases "those who have £50/yr of income" and she said she couldn't make the same promise in those cases, it was only for people with no other income.

@LeeLudlow3 @TheME7Podcast Agreed, Dack and Williams don't have the legs in midfield against a pacey and energetic team to both be starters, we lost it in midfield.

@TheME7Podcast We look much stronger with Coleman in the side. He can pass sideways all he likes, that pass out out to the left probably wouldn’t have been an option, or gone unchallenged has he been there, time and again they walked through us.

We got extremely desperate in the second-half and ended up trying to force it. We’ve got to do away with that starting midfield too, far too open. Palmer-Houlden impressive again. Now we will see what this Ainsworth team is all about!
