WATCH: Thankless job for armed police securing a perimeter around the crime scene following a shootout at the Salsa on St. Clair Festival. One officer calmly advises that the road is closed, then asks whether the young man attempting to get through is carrying open alcohol. The exchange appears to deescalate, with the young man leaving and fist-bumping officers, saying he was not trying to make their job harder. But when the same officer declines a second fist bump moments later, he curses: “F— you, you’re a b—.” A man in a daishiki, round-frame sunglasses, and straw fedora seems to blame my videographer, saying: “Beat it!
