@TheZKNation @Wind_Crypto You didnt invite people to farm but you advertised your numbers constantly. Ironic. You rewarded sybils with milions and so many real users with nothing, absolute grifters.

ZKsync never invited people to farm. It always strived to build a community of people who deeply care about the mission of ZK Credo and the incredible potential of the ZK tech. Almost every blog post, twitter message, public statement of ZKsync focuses on the long-term mission, values and technology. Users were invited to join ZKsync to engage in organic activity, leveraging onchain opportunities and having fun. No rewards were ever promised for those activities. We never called farmers "bots". We know that there many real people who feel hurt and disappointed. We understand why, and while this is not our fault, it makes us extremely unhappy. But this was bound to happen, because industrial farmers made it impossible to meet the expectations of everyone. At the same time, it's also true that there is a massive misinformation campaign orchestrated by industrial sybils and their bots.

@PrimordialAA Model 1 with 50-10k is def the way to go, not only makes the TGE more compact, but rewards durable users as well. People getting 25 zro wont make much of a diff, might have already forgot/might not even claim

Current criteria (including the 2 multipliers). Base on fee (LZ fee not blockchain fee). Durable user multiplier is cutoff as of midnight UTC a few hours ago. Focus is on rewarding real users, and rewarding durable users Model 1 tx < $1 - deweight by -80% Valueless NFT tx - deweight by -80% all tx within the first 12 months - x3 bonus users with 3 tx since snapshot+2 days - overall x2 bonus Model 2 tx < $1 - deweight by -80% Valueless NFT tx - deweight by -80% >3 tx within the first 12 months - overall x2 bonus users with 3 tx since snapshot+2 days - overall x2 bonus The real question between the two models currently is should the max user only have his early tx weighted or the whole account. I.e. should a hyper-durable user who has been in from the beginning and still doing regular transactions receive x4 multiplier vs a user who farmed at peak farm hype and never since. Also going to do a run shortly stripping out the sybil and see how #s come back. Will report back

Also just want to say got a TON of feedback here, don't have time to respond to it all still working to get the Sybil list up tomorrow for public review but have heard everything and will make present some new runs tomorrow with the feedback overall based on these. We started with 100k max (way too high) -> 50k -> 25k -> 10k and now we're starting to get into what seems like more reasonable territory just looking at the wallets and types of wallets that are being included there. This run was min 50 which is obv a bit more restrictive but includes ~460k wallets since the max was lowered to 10k. Can show an example run with no multipliers tomorrow, and also with modified multipliers (a lot of people have had thoughts here, will put in some work with the data to try to see if x2 is too much overall for early, if x2 is too much for late, if early tx should be x3 but not account, etc.) -- can walk through the result from each. For now though, bed, finish sybil tomorrow and then march onwards
