@ExiledToHalifax @SkytelWrestling If you want to watch AEW live you need to get a 13.99 aud subscription with Triller or at a later time with Disney plus (ESPN). I know it use to show on Kayo about 3 to 4 hours after the event finished.

@SkytelWrestling Are they genuinely not on TV in Australia (so only on Triller or similar?) Wow, I know they prioritised the UK (makes sense we've more than double the population) when they launched, but if that's the case it's a massive oversight.

Or, hear me out, consider 7000 in an arena in a country where they aren't even on television, a good thing, and room to build from?

@jlpalmx12 @AEWTicketMap The biggest issue is that there was zero talk about the 2 shows. Non existent accept for the 2 days prior to the events. You can’t rely on walk up in gate purchases etc here as most need to fly to event. As soon as they announce the shows they should hyping it in that country

@AEWTicketMap I think the Big issue is that they go there once a year and the people don't show interest for the show. The fact that not Even 10k people were there with a card that stacked is crazy for AEW fans. An event like that in México most likely sells out.

Whenever I can, I'll share the stage and then the merch. Can't this time! February 2025, AEW ran Grand Slam from Brisbane and they did not bring enough merch with them for the demand February 2026, AEW ran Grand Slam from Sydney and it appears they didn't learn their lesson

@EGrsic @AIRGold_ I paid $1299.00 for the front row seat package for the non televised Brisbane event tonight. I also find it easier and cheaper to fly and stay in Brisbane than Sydney. Hopefully they come back again. If they do they need a promotional team in Aus to spam the event details

But I can see a lot of casual fans not wanting to pay that much, when there has been little to no hype/promoting here in Aus.

Grand Slam in Sydney A final count of 7,030 ⬅️February 15, 2025 (Brisbane): 13,000 The week of the show, it became unclear whether the Upper Tier would be open or not. It wasn't and 500 tickets had to be removed from the count.

Super excited to see AEW House Rules in Brisbane on Sunday Disappointed that I will miss Grand Slam in Sydney the night before. Couldn’t afford to attend both and Brisbane is closer Probably wishful thinking, but I really wish/hope the Young Bucks make the trip to Australia🤞

I thought Grand Slam Brisbane 2025 would be my once in a lifetime experience.. but I was wrong!! I got tickets for my second @AEW event.. Unfortunately it’s not Grand Slam again (Sydney got it next year), but I am happy to still be seeing another AEW live event in Australia.

Hangman is champion. Athena won the gauntlet. Cope is back and potentially teaming with Christian. Toni is still champion. Darby is back. The Gunns & Juice are back. Danielson made an appearance. I’d say we’re doing pretty well, AEW fans 🙌🏼☺️
