🗣️Andrés Iniesta: I am happy with yesterday’s result. Even though it felt to me that some of the refereeing decisions favored Argentina, I’m glad the match wasn’t decided the way I feared.
I still don’t understand why Spain’s goal was disallowed. From what I saw, I didn’t think there was a foul leading up to it. At the same time, I also felt there were several challenges that could have resulted in yellow or even red cards but went unpunished.
Football depends on fairness and consistency. When controversial decisions continue to dominate the conversation, they risk damaging fans’ trust in the World Cup and its credibility.
Watching matches like this reminds me of comments Cristiano Ronaldo has made over the years about the game. Regardless of where fans stand in the Ronaldo–Messi debate, I respect Ronaldo’s achievements and believe he earned his success through hard work and determination.
@SportsUncensrd@piersmorgan Messi refused pig head , Quadruple chin Morgan an interview, all the while he liked Ronaldo ass to get an interview… and now the impotent fool is dick riding Ronaldo
🇦🇷🤦 “Messi ran off like the school sneak… it was shameful!”
🐐❌ “All this stuff about saint Lionel… he went missing!”
Piers Morgan BLASTS Argentina’s Lionel Messi for trying to get Spain’s Marc Cucurella sent off.

🤬 “Infantino is the biggest PR*CK!”

🚨🗣️ Jose Mourinho: "The reason Argentina performed so poorly in the World Cup final is that they simply didn't deserve to reach the final. They should have been eliminated against Egypt, but they won purely because of the referee's decisions".
🚨🗣 Egypt's Coach Hossam Hassan on Argentina loosing the world cup final:
"Spain actually did that for all of us who were cheated on by them [Argentina], they should learn from this"
"This is for Cape Verde, Switzerland, England, and Egypt, my players called me and were extremely happy that Spain won"
Universally hated…..has any nation ever managed to make itself loathed all over the planet simply through sport. Argentina have managed that in the last 6 weeks at the World Cup. The entire planet celebrated when they lost last night. And Messi, the great god of football also took a hammering. I for one was delighted to see his tears after he tried to get Cucurella sent off for no reason and walked around the pitch like he was owed the result for 120 minutes. The GOAT my arse, Maradona was FAR better. And the Argies even managed to prove it’s not just on the football pitch because when England beat them at Rugby on Saturday they did the same thing, scuffling, fighting, surrounding the ref, behaving like spoilt toddlers, it’s clearly a national trait. Cheats and bad losers. Spain won last night, but Argentina didn’t just lost the match, they lost ALL respect from the entire world.
This little cunt (Valentin Barco) plays for Strasbourg and will probably playing for then at SJP
He needs to be given a hostile Geordie welcome from kick off to the final whistle
@movimentdepaul7 Lamel is so over rated. Did absolutely nothing in the final . Got the ball taken off of him so many times. He is light years behind Messi.
🚨BREAKING: Chelsea have received an official letter from the English press demanding the immediate contract termination of Enzo Fernandez
The letter stands on the grounds of disrespect and lack of self awareness from the latter during Argentina vs England
@ChristianariasF Argentinians don’t look down on Mexicans. They are rivals in soccer. The only people who look down on Mexican are the anchor babies born in the USA. They have hated for their own blood.

@MessiFanatic_ Morgan and his big plastic paddies mouth .. unstoppable. He didnt even get a smell of the ball him and Kane. England has no generational English players , they are irish, Scottish and African. Soon England will have Mohammad and Islam players, and hopully a journalist Islam lo
@Mercado_Ingles Ouch!!! And now we are stepping outside football and digging into politics. Argentina economy is doing fine .. But England has a Mohammad and Islam problem .
@nokai Your warning worked as the ref favored Spain .. Unnecessarily sending off Enzo for a 50/50 ball. The ref was thinking what Fuente was thinking. Shame on you . Spains didnt need the ref they were deserving winners
@UTDbrims Laporta…. Anticipating the game before Spain and Argentina final. Well the ref served Spain very well as he favored Spain thanks to your comments. Spain were deserved winners but there was no need for this speech ..
🗣️Barcelona President Joan Laporta have confirmed the fraud and corruption going on with FIFA and referees and said it needs to be investigated.
He stated regarding the FIFA World Cup final that "If the referee imposes himself, Spain has more chances of winning. But if they become biased that’s only when when Argentina will have a chance of winning.
The referee must impose himself," while also expressing his confidence that Spain would win the tournament and boasting about the strength of the Spanish team.
With what I’m seeing here, Argentina’s 2nd goal should not have stood at all, but of course it’s Argentina…
Everyone I’ve spoken to about the World Cup this week isn’t supporting Argentina, cos their rise to the final seemed unfair & very debatable.
@clarincom And he did , it worked as he so favored Spain. Enzo should have never been sent off .. a yellow the most. It was. 50/50 tackle but the Spain player did a perfect dive, a 10 no -splash. interesting how they fall on the grounds stay down to rest and miraculously recover …

@UTD_Seth001 With Spain having an extra days rest .. Argentina looked tired. Very tired. Messi didnt show up but also because in how Spain played with so much possession, they were step faster .. deserved winners. So Loni did the right thing in bringing defenders to try to take it to pe…
🚨Michael Owen on Lionel Messi’s performance against Spain in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.
🗣️ Michael Owen: “When Argentina needed Lionel Messi the most, he just wasn’t there. For 130 minutes, he never looked like the player we’ve seen throughout this tournament.
“This was the biggest game of the World Cup, the moment every great player dreams about, but Messi struggled to impose himself. There were no decisive dribbles, no killer passes and no moments where you felt he was taking control of the final.
“Spain deserve enormous credit because they made life incredibly difficult for him. They closed the spaces, doubled up on him and never allowed him to dictate the tempo of the game.
“But with a player of Messi’s standards, people expect him to find a solution regardless of the circumstances. Tonight, that moment never came.
“You kept waiting for the magic, waiting for that one touch that changes everything, but it never arrived. Argentina looked short of ideas, and their biggest star couldn’t provide the spark they desperately needed.
“That’s football. Even the greatest players can have nights where things don’t come off. It doesn’t erase everything Messi has achieved in his career or throughout this World Cup, but if you’re judging this final on its own, Spain completely nullified his influence.
“Spain were deserved winners because they controlled the game better, created the clearer chances and never allowed Argentina’s biggest weapon to come alive. That’s the mark of champions.”
@FabrizioRomano Hold your head high Enzo.. the red card was unnecessary … the dive the Spain player took was a perfect 10, no -splash.. it should have went to VAR .. to see how dramatic it was .
