@YesItsBash This man does not have any style of play... Doesn't tactics when the match doesn't go our way... Each game we allow opponents control the game while waiting for a big break for counter attack. Is this what we're going to depend on in 4 competitions???

You people speak like any other coach aside Carrick is guaranteed to succeed.

It's only been around 4 months under Carrick, so I don't think anyone can fully say yet what he's trying to build or where this is definitely heading especially with Champions League and a much busier schedule next season. But after almost 13 years without a league title, patience naturally becomes a lot harder. At some point, you need to genuinely believe that the manager will take the club back to the top, and I'm still not fully sure Carrick is that guy (I don't know why because the results have been great so far, but I still think there could be something here that I am missing.) At the same time, constantly restarting every 2-3 years is probably a huge reason United are stuck in this cycle in the first place. That's why I genuinely can't decide where I stand. All I can say is that we need to win and we need to win fast.

Even in his first caretaker spell, he won Villarreal with Unai Emery, Arsenal with Arteta and drew Chelsea under Thomas Tuchel. At some point, people need to stop judging names and start judging impact. Carrick has already shown more tactical clarity, composure in handling the media and pressure as well as understanding Manchester United than most appointments. With his results and the way he surpassed expectations, I’m not surprised the club has decided to begin negotiations with him full time. He deserves it and I hope he brings back the glory days of the club.

The way Arsenal fans / media are disrespecting Bruno Fernandes is embarrassing & unbecoming. To pretend he is not a deserving Footballer of the Year winner, or the idea there is one worthy winner every year is a lie. Robin van Persie won in 2011/12 with no trophies, Patrick Vieira won Player of the Season in 2000/01 with none, Thierry Henry won both in 2005/06 with none too. Would fans have kept the same energy for them? They have the Champions League Final & are on the brink of first Premier League title in 22 years, yet are losing the plot over an individual award. Nobody is arguing about the best team, he is the best player.
