@PhaedraGoddess ACOTAR is pretty tame tbf! It’s more romance with hint of smut, it’s definitely more for love which I do love, all of the books has been good. Though the blue one (I think it was frost something) was hella boring icl LOOOL it was super skinny too so defo a filler

@CashHedonia Love it when new parts in a beloved series come out! I still have to start ACOTAR but haven’t really been in the right headspace for (dark) romantasy sadly

Dungeon Crawler Carl! An amazing (currently 8 books) series by Matt Dinniman. The books are amazing, and I’ve never had an audiobook I enjoyed this much thanks to the epic Jeff Hays (I combine the two for more immersive and focused reading) Small note: I started the audiobook during the third part of the series, listened the first recently and in this book Jeff as Carl still sounds very Kronk-inspired lol, he finds his voice a little lateron. Basically it’s about aliens invading the earth, and you can survive the end of the world by going into a dungeon and progressing through that, the story focusses on Carl and Princess Donut (his ex-gfs cat) and how they try to survive all the madness. It’s like an existential horrorstory dressed up as a fartjoke, but it also gets really deep and emotional along the way. My favourite book series ever 🖤

@PhaedraGoddess I was watching a court of silver flames (last book of the ACOTAR series thou two more is coming out. One in October and one in January!) but as I went too far I paused it so Zelda can catch up. So now I’m reading Deviant by Ellie Sanders
