This is much more interesting in a Jokic vs SGA type of conversation where the question is can Jokic get to the games played threshold. Cade is a relatively distant 3rd from a VORP BPM perspective and not listed here but Dunks and Threes also has SGA and Jokic 1/2 in Actual and Expected EPM whereas Cade is 9th. I don’t really think Pace is a great estimator of how many games these guys will play either it’s more just a danger zone for whether they will eventually qualify or not.

NEW: The 65-Game Rule might deliver Cade Cunningham the MVP. SGA's eligibility is in jeopardy. Wemby, Luka and Jokic on pace to be disqualified. I wrote about it here: tomthefinder.com/p/why-cade-is-…

De’Aaron Fox o16.5 Points The Spurs face off against the Detroit Pistons in a showdown between two of the league’s top teams. While everyone is always looking to Victor Wembanyama to step up in these spots, De’Aaron Fox is another prime target tonight. Fox is averaging 16.6 ppg this season and even though this is a tougher matchup due to Detroit’s overall defense, we have seen other lead ball handlers find success. Jalen Brunson put up 33, and Josh Giddey put up 27 just in the last week. One of the keys is that they are about average defending pick and roll ball handlers and they foul at a high rate. What’s been interesting is that Fox steps up against top defenses. Against top 10 defenses, he is averaging 19.1 ppg this season. He elevates his game and is naturally able to take on a greater offensive load when his teammates may struggle to get their own shots. I expect this to be a tough and competitive game with Fox as a primary scoring option alongside of Wemby. Best Current Line: -104 DK

Chet Holmgren under 17.5 Points The Thunder are massive favorites against the Brooklyn Nets out of the All-Star break. As a result, we may see limited need for their top players in this spot. Even though OKC has ruled out a number of key players including SGA and Jdub, that has not translated into a significant uptick in Usage for Chet Holmgren. We generally see that Usage distributed more to the Aaron Wiggins of the world. Chet has played 2 games without both SGA and Jdub this season and he scored 17 and 16 points. Without just Jdub he’s at 17.6 ppg and under this mark in 14/25 games. When OKC has closed as a double digit favorite, he’s also under this mark in 9/14 games. Given that this is Brooklyn’s second game in as many days and the spread, I think there are more paths to an under here for Chet than to an over. 🌟 VIP got 18.5 📉 Best Current Line: -106 DK

Mitchell Robinson o7.5 Rebounds 🎙️ Discussed on @CashThatPodcast The Knicks face off against the Pistons out of the All-Star Break and I’m targeting the big dog in this spot. The Pistons are a strong rebounding team; however, they will be without key bigs Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart for this contest. Mitchell Robinson is a monster on the glass. He averages 9 rebounds per game and has cleared this mark in 62.5% of games this season. This game against the Pistons should be competitive so I’d expect Mitch to see his typical rotation here. Given the lack of true bigs outside of Bball Paul, this is an excellent spot for Robinson to board. Best Current Line: +120 FD
