in western cultures you wear your wedding ring on your left hand, and since GO is a british show let's go with that. it would mean then that the angels are Married to heaven, and aziraphale wearing it on the right hand would show how he defies expectations and breaks rules.

been thinking about aziraphale's signet ring since I made my earlier wedding rings post. all the angels except for gabriel and muriel* have a signet ring, so it probably is a symbol of heaven. but aziraphale wears it on his right hand, while the other angels wear it on the left.
