@buddingmonkey LLMs are amazing! I’m not a coder but I’m creating a tool that helps game developers price their upcoming game on Steam. And it works!!

This was an excellent exercise in learning how to work with LLMs. I learned so much about how to work with agents. It felt like doing a problem set in college. I had the questions and the answer key. It was up to me to do the work.

@robertskmiles @paulg I’m a biz dev consultant in the games industry. Every day, I message important, busy people in major gaming companies through text chat interfaces to discuss business, and they respond to me. (Largely because we get drunk together on a regular basis.)

Today's question: "What's an example of a useful task that you could do through a text chat interface within, say, 15-30 minutes, that current AI definitely couldn't do?"

@DukeGunston I knew a few great animators/artists who came from film and that’s fine, but some game biz folks aren’t technical, don’t play games and are decision makers in positions of influence. Wild!

Just seen a publishing deal which contains the following: a) Publisher acquires the IP b) Publisher has a termination for convenience right c) If Dev wants to rebuy the IP after terminated for convenience, they have to repay a multiple of the dev funding received 🤒🤒

where do i find women investors investing in games? ideally someone who can fund up from 150k~450k usd. asking for a fren. (fren is not me!)
