The head is drawn with relatively more completeness. The head length of Baryonyx from that age could perfectly express some bold details, which is difficult to achieve with the newer skull reconstructions today.

@Alien_Theory I just like it because the practical effects are cool. I also grew up visiting my grandparents (and even went on a dinosaur dig) in gunnison colorado so it’s fun to me for that reason haha

Please trust me, I don’t consider myself above hating. Eg. I think Aliens Vs Predator: Requiem is a steaming pile of shit. B-movie writing and characters. Aliens Vs Pizza Boy? Are you actually fucking kidding me? Cheap CGI. Good practical effects but horribly filmed. Insulting to each franchise’s legacy. And to their fans. And on a personal level, it’s extremely difficult for me to fathom how anyone couldn’t view films like Prometheus, Alien: Covenant, Alien: Romulus, or even the series Alien: Earth MUCH more favorably by comparison. But that’s just me. And it’s just that nobody really wants to hear about it because it’s not a new movie.

Dude when my friend was showing me the series he straight up told me that it had the coolest monster scenes of the series, but that the tradeoff was the worst humans of the series. And man that shit holds true. Tonal whiplash, the movie.
