Pre Trial conference up on the docket. While I understand it will keep moving on the docket until it’s officially settled… So this is further proof it is not settled. I don’t trust Blake lively

@innercitypress I believe Liman may be waiting for WP to open the door to converting the MJOP to an MSJ so he can pull these arguments here into a total dismissal that includes BOTH FEHA and contract claims.

Judge Liman: I ruled on technical grounds. They still have an appeal. Lively's lawyer: That's why this issue is teed up for the court on a motion. It's for the Court to decide if Ms. Lively's CRD complaint and her public comments were made without malice

I looked into that, and ultimately Liman made the right ruling there. It isn't his fault that California Law is a legal insane asylum. The fact is the Cali "Justices" had already ruled that the language in the litigation privilege extended protections prior to filing, and the fair report privilege had the same language, so same language equals same legal meaning in the same jurisdiction.

Wayfarer's 3d lawyer: The complaint was dismissed, but not as frivolous. The Court said there was powerful evidence that Ms. Lively provided her California complaint to the NYT before she filed it. The dismissal is based on an unpublished California case.

Doctor Culotta doesn't seem to understand that a content creator's curated base audience would behave differently than a newly arriving audience who landed on the video because they searched a trending popular culture topic in YouTube. So maybe Kjirsti's subscribers were less engaged at the moment (1.7) to someone else's lead than the people who lead themselves to a topic they were currently interested in (22%).
