Finally watching season two of Bad Batch again for the first time in 3 years bc I’m watching the show with a couple friends who’ve never seen it before and tbh it’s kinda beautiful to get to experience the whole thing with new eyes.

@freakklok You KNOW he was giving it his all because the first time we meet him, he lifts a literal gunship, breaking Tech and Hunter’s necks bare handed would be light work, but he just knocks them out. He really was fighting that thing as hard as he could 😭

The way wrecker was fighting the chip so hard and genuinely felt so fuckhng bad after he couldn’t fight it anymore even though it was out if his control… And all it took for flophair to join the empire was one singular order…

@cloneschaser I mean it would make sense considering he was designed to primarily fight droids? Idk it’s pretty vague and inconsistent sometimes

@cloneschaser Yeah it’s pretty bad sometimes, but I also noticed he’s a lot more effective at noticing droids? So maybe is an electronic frequency thing, and organic things are harder to “feel” the way mechanical things are

One of my biggest criticisms of the bad batch is how painfully underutilized Hunter's enhancement is. Tech says in tbbtcw arc that he can feel anything and that "hunter is never wrong" but they're always getting snuck up on by some Giant Animal and i just don't get it sometimes
