I wonder if you can wrap your head around this. Not overly confident but we can give it a go maybe. A lot of the liberal turning away from X - including by your own employer - occurred in the wake of it becoming a free-speech oriented platform. Those institutions, including Stuff, preferred it as a platform that censored disfavoured views. In that way, deliberate decisions by institutions to cease using X have become seen as an indication of disapproval for free speech and in favour of controlled speech. The free speech union exists to promote free speech. I really wonder if you can surprise me here Phil.

No doubt you also believe she saved 20,000 lives. 🙄 When you boil Ardern’s empathy act down, it meant feeling warm and fuzzy towards people she agreed with while showing a lot less warmth to anyone who challenged her or her government’s direction. She refused to meet with the parliament protestors and sicced the Police onto them instead. She created two classes of people in NZ and her policies divided us. Nah, she was all optics over outcomes and then gapped it when she realised she was going to be dumped to keep her brand intact.

Not only did Labour leader Chris Hipkins know that a second dose of the covid vaccine posed a heart damage risk to young people, but he appears to have doubled down by then urging teens to get a THIRD dose. A Beehive press release dated April 6 2022 appears to be a smoking gun

New Zealand First has received a lot of feedback from recreational fishers about the current legislation going through parliament – in particular about the proposed catch size limit changes for commercial companies and how that would affect a large number of ordinary kiwis. I spoke with the Minister in charge Shane Jones on this matter. We decided to review this part of the legislation and use the select committee to remove this clause. We believe in democracy, and the most important part of democracy is listening to the people. We are doing that.
