Congratulations to @Nemiwall @UniofHull who has passed her Viva on #PhD research into “The influence of moisture on pyroclastic density current dynamics and deposits: implications for understanding volcanic stratigraphy”.
This inspired us, along with Nelida Manrique and Rigoberto Aguilar from @IngemmetPeru, to use the method to capture 50,000 years of explosive history from the Misti volcano and showcase it at the Arequipa @indeciperu Risk Center. 🌋🔍 #Volcano #Misti #Arequipa #RiskAwareness
