@flpanthersmuse Probably, next season. Good luck getting any combination of these lines to stick right now with any number of these guys getting injured from game to game. Can see Greer and Mackie leaving next season, 4th line of Gadjovich-Nosek-Vilmanis could cook I think.

Panthers projected forwards if healthy: Rodrigues-Barkov-Reinhart Verhaeghe-Bennett-Tkachuk Luostarinen-Lundell-Marchand Greer-Vilmanis-Samoskevich Will we get the chance to see this?

@ethanbudowsky The team really misses Barkov and all the defensive support he brings down the middle. Losing him was bad enough but all the injuries just have everyone stretched too thin defensively and Bob can't keep us in it like he used to. Love him but it's just not enough this season.

Was looking at Bob's stats to understand how different this year has been from the past. We sure did a lot of complaining about a guy that put up these numbers year after year and has since brought us 2 Stanley Cups.

@NHLRumourReport A pointless trade to me, when the team has their core signed, is already cap-crunched, and may not even make the playoffs at this rate. Panarin doesn't fit their cap or their system.

@ethanbudowsky The team has this really bad habit of going long stretches without giving up a shot, and then letting their opponent score as soon as they get a chance on the rush. Tough for Bob and Tarasov to get into a rhythm sometimes I'd imagine, and the defense has not been consistent.

People can blame goaltending all you want but Sergei Bobrovsky was pretty damn awesome today and got beat from point blank twice when his defense let a player walk right out in front wide open. Not to mention only one goal scored the other way. Not enough in every phase.

@David954FLA Super difficult choice. Can argue Ekblad as a Panthers lifer, Lu for being Lu...plus so many key players in those couple of years building up to our cup runs. But for me, by the end of his career, it's probably Reinhart.

I want to thank you Mr. @JohnForslund for following me back. He is the best play-by-play man in the business. There's no one else who can keep up with the pace of play, tell you everything that's going on, use first and last names of each player in nearly every call, and have perfect literal and metaphorical statements to go along with it. Anyone who has known me at any point since I was old enough to understand the significance of a play-by-play commentator knows that John Forslund is my favorite person in sports media. My favorite call of his is one that might not be so well known. Back on my old Android Phone in 2017, I actually had this for a text notification tone I loved it so much. "Oh my goodness, that was sick."
