𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐄𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 CatchProbe's October 2023 alert about hacker groups targeting energy sector customers has been confirmed: the Palo Alto vulnerability we identified through acquired conversation evidence has just been publicly exposed. At the start of 2024, 36 energy companies were hacked in a coordinated attack, underscoring the critical nature of such warnings. CatchProbe's proactive alerts in October 2023 to energy companies using Palo Alto proved decisive: our clients who heeded our warnings remained secure.

⚠️What measures should be taken against zero-day mobile malware attacks? 📴 📵LockDown Policy On: Following a lawsuit against Apple by the Supreme Court in the USA, Apple was mandated to limit these attacks. Consequently, Apple introduced the lock mode feature in iOS versions in 2021, reducing the attack surface of Zero-Click Attacks by 90%. One of our top recommendations is to activate lock down mode. A similar feature has been developed for Android systems as well. 📵Data roaming should be off when not traveling abroad. If data roaming is on while you are in your country, one-time passwords (OTPs) sent to you are transmitted via LTE, and hackers can intercept these OTPs using simple applications. 📵FaceTime should be disabled. Instead of being hacked through an incoming call or request on FaceTime, it's also possible to bypass the application due to chronic vulnerabilities easily. 📵iMessage feature should be disabled to avoid receiving messages through it. 📵Allow Apps to Request to Track' should be disabled. Otherwise, you could be affected by vulnerabilities in different applications. Any application that uses the WebRTC protocol could allow third parties to access your sensitive information. 📵The software of the smart device should be up to date. It is crucial to have the latest security updates installed. 📵WhatsApp applications should be up to date. You should ensure that your WhatsApp applications are updated to prevent application-based attacks. 📵WhatsApp backups should be off, and no backups should be made on iCloud or anywhere else. Preventing your WhatsApp or phone's archives from being accessed blocks hackers who cannot fully access through zero-click from seeing your previous conversations. 📵The 'Protect IP Address in Calls' feature in WhatsApp should be enabled. Activating this feature is important. Otherwise, communication could be facilitated via proxy servers outside of WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption-supported servers, allowing your data to be accessed without being directly infiltrated into your phone. 🏁Even with all these precautions, it is not possible to be 100% safe.
