In #Christmas2021, why not tell family you'd love second hand gifts for your kids? It reduces demand for virgin #plastic & gives pre-loved items new life ♻️ This positively impacts #climatechange & #plasticpollution. It's what showing kids love at Christmas should be about 😘

Home languages are visible and are spoken within the learning spaces @SchoolStuttgart Sindelfingen. We truly strive to enact what we say and believe about the interdependence of language and culture.

Education focused on the future has to be co-designed with those who are the future. We need to get off our high horses and take seriously that students want the same thing that we wanted as students…to be truly listened to because they have ideas about their future.

Books with queer content aren't inappropriate or pornographic. They're books. Books belong in classroom and school libraries. If a parent does not want his/her/their child to read a book, fine. But that parent has no right -- no right -- to say other kids cannot read those books.

Unsurprising but newly relevant: A 2019 study found that when parents feel "pressured, inadequate, & isolated," they have less energy for their child and are more likely to "impose their own agenda on their child" rather than supporting his/her autonomy: is.gd/k96uH7
