People are mint. You do a gig, organised by lovely folk, engineered by a skilled technician, on a bill with obscenely talented compatriots, attended by the most enthusiastic bunch of friends I both have and haven't met yet. I am so glad I made Newcastle my home

Cathode didn't play outside Newcastle much but there were a few memorable ones, including Berlin thanks to @carocsound, Leeds w/Randomnumber and Norberg - an electronic noise festival in a Swedish power station - with the Expanding Records lot #electronica #glitch #Newcastle

Another 2002 gig, at @NewcastleCastle with Bola and Gescom (i.e. Autechre) from Skam records.  I remember bricking it for this one but getting a good reaction that made me think Cathode would be worth sticking with.
