Watched the new Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender movie to pre-screen it for the kids. Giga based nationalist archetype character does whatever it takes to save his people and homeland. Turns into super saiyan mecha Hitler and surprise he’s the bad guy now! The cucked main character (who is of the same race) destroys the tool that gives them the power to bring back their near-extinct people (they are the last two airbenders) in the name of a liberal egalitarianian globalist pipe dream. Subversive slop, not allowing the kids to watch.

Imagine you’re a young child in the 70s. you’ve been going to this parish your whole life, like your parents before you and their parents too. Perhaps your family helped build the original church.
Every Sunday you were transcended by the beauty of the church and the mystery of the Mass.
One Sunday you show up and see that it was “updated”.
After this, can you really blame people for stopping going to church back then?
(Thankfully, as of 2014, the parish community has been working on restoring the original design - but the spiritual damage to the community is long accomplished).

The non-bender stuff was always used as a joke or resulted in the characters having crazy speciality skills to make due
Sokka learning the path of the sword was more interesting than all of the Zuko field trip episodes and no one will ever change my mind
Instead of exploring the world of the martial arts masters who can't bend they went for "MUH OPPRESSION" plotline because it was written during the birth of the Woke Era
I remember all of the Avatar fans in my school dropping off like flies because LoK felt like a completely different universe where the only connection to TLAB were cheap cameos and references

The animation was beautiful and the fight scenes incredibly immersive. But the writing left much to be desired.
There was no reason why Tagah should body the whole team this badly. It was done for shock value the same way Korra lost repeatedly to the villains in her story.

This is the first time in the show we’ve seen the full potential of airbending in a fight. Aang was a great airbender, but he was a pacifist and rarely used airbending to its full offensive power. Zaheer was talented, but he didn’t have enough training nor time to become a master. Tenzin was very skilled, easily the best of his generation, but still had some limitations. Tagah was different. He was a true master who lived through war and violence, trained under an Avatar, earned his arrows, and knew ancient airbending techniques that were lost after the Air Nation massacre. The other nations were lucky the Air Nomads were pacifists. If they had chosen violence and war, they would’ve been an absolute nightmare to fight against.
