@WillMuldoon Please explain it to me. Or am I such a lost cause at understanding your genius that I'm not worth your precious time to stoop to such plebian depths?

@CatholicPsych Respectfully, you've been at this for a whole month and find it harder than getting your doctorate. With that, I wouldn't expect you to fully grasp the nuance at play here. I very clearly stated that you don't get mulligans on childhood education. x.com/i/status/20344…
Dr. Gregory Bottaro@CatholicPsych

@jessegenet Haha this is so out of touch. Ive spent 3 weeks obsessed with building AI and I've never felt dumber in my life. And I'm a Clinical Psychologist. Getting a doctorate was magnitudes easier than this.

Spending $2k/month on Claude should be enough evidence that you're not fully aware of what you're doing... To ignore that feedback to buy a Mac Studio openclaw setup (on Gemma lol) to *teach your children* feels really inappropriate. There's no mulligans on childhood education.
Jesse Genet@jessegenet

It’s happened. Mac Studio is here. Gemma 4 31b @GoogleDeepMind installed, chatting with my main @openclaw for $0 in token expenses now... I've burned $5-6k on tokens on my crazy ideas over past few months, so this mac studio should pencil out for me within 3 months or so 🤓

@WillMuldoon Potential to get what wrong? You’re conflating homeschooling with experimenting with tech in your original post. You make no sense.

@CatholicPsych I live in Alaska, the state with the highest percentage of homeschooled students. I also think spending $3k/mo to anthropomorphize db and api calls is unhinged and an indicator that there's little rigor/study/evidence behind any of this and the potential to get it wrong is high.

@steipete It’s not charging me API costs- just sub usage. My sub percentage usage is going up but not any extra charges- same as if I use the Claude app or tui

Anthropic now blocks first-party harness use too 👀 claude -p --append-system-prompt 'A personal assistant running inside OpenClaw.' 'is clawd here?' → 400 Third-party apps now draw from your extra usage, not your plan limits. So yeah: bring your own coin 🪙🦞

The average person really wants to believe this because then they can just not try hard to get good at using AI right now and not feel behind… they even get to feel smug! fun! don’t fall for it.

My OpenClaw bot builds websites & mails a postcard with a QR link to local businesses on autopilot... You can use it to land new customers without a single cold call, here's how it works: - Finds 100s of local businesses via Google Maps - Builds each one a custom website in minutes - Prints a real postcard with their site preview + QR code - Mails it directly to their door - They scan it, see their site, and reach out - Runs 24/7 completely hands off Direct mail gets a much higher response rate than cold email. Reply "OpenClaw" and I'll send you the full breakdown of how you can do it too (must be following so I can DM)

Hey Catholic Manosphere- science has discovered that the earth orbits the sun (and its not flat!) and also that women and men both contribute 23 chromosomes to make new humans. So, the whole "women are misbegotten men" thing needs to be updated. Also every other teaching that's predicated on the old flawed science. Women have no inherent imperfection relative to men. If you have no idea what I'm talking about jump into the rabbit hole of "what St. Thomas said about women" and draw your own conclusions about why transgenderism is even a thing. Time for men in the church to arouse from their slumber as they've fallen asleep on the watch. When your positions echo Andrew Tate, it's time to seriously question your position.

The Maturation of Mutual Submission open.substack.com/pub/catholicps… In retribution for the cowardice I've shown at time not stating the truth plainly. Eespecially in groups of men who don't believe what I've written here and needed to be corrected. Pray for them, pray for me.

The father of seven has not finished a thought in four years. he is just moving. feeding. driving. wiping. his brain is soup and his back is finished and he has no opinions about civilization he is too tired for opinions. and meanwhile civilization is growing out of him like he is dirt and he doesnt even notice because there is milk on the floor again. the childfree man has read eleven books this year about the decline of the west and he is the decline and the books are the evidence and he will understand this at fifty eight in a room that is very clean and very quiet

A deft intervention on complementarity by @FavaleAbs @ChurchLifeND . churchlifejournal.nd.edu/articles/rethi… I'll be reading this with my teen, who was recently told some nonsense about how "if the wife wants to go apple picking Saturday but the husband wants to mow the lawn, the husband decides which they do" as an explanation of sex roles in marriage.
