All Protestant denominations come from the Catholic Church, whether they accept it or not. So long as they retain those Catholic roots, they’ll always be connected to the Catholic Church in some real, albeit imperfect, way. What are those Catholic roots? 1. Trinitarian Baptism and belief in the Trinity. 2. Belief in the Incarnation that Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully Man. 3. Adhering to the 27-book New Testament. 4. Belief in original sin and the Atonement of Jesus Christ on the cross. 5. Worship on Sundays. 6. Celebrating December 25 for Christmas 7. Celebrating Easter according to the Roman Catholic dating method. Feel free to list other commonalities below.👇🏻 Some Protestant Fundamentalists might try to deny this connection, but unless they abandon the above commonalities, they can’t get away from it. Their exterior may be Protestant, but the core of their Faith is Catholic, whether they like it or not, and whether they accept it or not. Most Protestants are okay with this. For some, however, it’s a hard cope.

The earliest Christians did not argue about Christianity. They belonged to a Church. With bishops. With altars. With sacraments. History does not bend to modern theology. Scroll.

When Will We Stop Fighting Jesus? 🕊️ We keep fighting Jesus when we fight His words, His mother, His Church, His Sacraments, His Commandments, and His Bible. When will we stop? He gave us everything. He gave us His Word protected for two thousand years.

We Keep Fighting Jesus When We Fight His Bible 📚 Most Christians do not know that the Bible was edited. Seven books were removed during the Protestant Reformation in the sixteenth century — Tobit, Judith, 1 and 2 Maccabees, Sirach, Wisdom, and Baruch.

We Keep Fighting Jesus When We Fight His Commandments ⚖️ Before anyone says Jesus came to free us from the law, listen to what He actually said. In Matthew 5:17-18, He declared He came not to abolish the Law but to fulfill it — and that not the smallest letter would pass away

We Keep Fighting Jesus When We Fight His Sacraments 🍞 In John 6, Jesus said unless we eat His flesh and drink His blood, we have no life in us. People walked away when He said it — and He did not run after them to explain it was a metaphor.

We Keep Fighting Jesus When We Fight His Mother 🌹 The Angel Gabriel did not say "Hello, Mary." He said "Hail, full of grace" — a title given to no other human being in all of Scripture. Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, called her "the mother of my Lord."

We Keep Fighting Jesus When We Fight His Words ✝️ Jesus made a promise in Matthew 16:18 that the gates of hell would never overcome His Church. Not a suggestion. Not a metaphor. A direct promise from the mouth of God Himself.

What Happened at the Council of Nicaea and Why It Matters ⚡ One of the most repeated myths in history is that the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD is where the Catholic Church "invented" the divinity of Jesus Christ. People claim that a group of bishops voted to make Jesus God.
