Independent Dan Osborn wants a 1v1 shot at Sen. Pete Ricketts (R) in the 2026 #NESen race. To that end, most Nebraska Dems will likely support Osborn. But a court ruling yesterday makes it more likely that a spoiler Democratic candidate will be on the ballot in November.

@WalkingHymnal I still wonder how much of that is after the fact quarterbacking regarding the "bridge" to Benedict, which nobody really took as one, and it didn't seem to smooth relations either.

@CatholicSmark Wait, hold up....in what universe is Lewis living?! Francis literally chose Prevost as Prefect for the Dicastery for Bishops (as his 3rd or 4th choice) *because he was seen as a bridge from him to Benedict*! Plus Erdo's camp gave him a huge swing in the Conclave votes in round 2.

A campaign is releasing the polling to try and say something. Not because its trying to show what's actually happening.
In this case Ted Brown is not getting 5%. Talarico is likely going to finish right around 44%
