When I was a kid and needed to hide from the world, I would find a closet and just sit in there. I was the youngest of six in a pretty noisy family. And I have to admit, there have been a few times lately that I’ve been looking at my closet longingly.

We all have times when we need to grieve. And grief manifests differently for everyone. If you need to curl up in your bed or binge-watch Netflix, give yourself permission to do so.

Be okay with not being okay. ‘Cause ya know, sometimes, it just sucks. Period.
