#go3spoilers ANOTHER THING I want to say about how some of you are reacting to go3 is I think a lot of people genuinely don’t understand the concept and theories surrounding free will and the existence of a God

@fabledfool If you need show recs where the queer characters get happy endings, I have some. Most of them are animated and for 7-year-olds, but they can still be enjoyed by adults.

@CathyWriter24 I won’t, I’m just feeling really low right now. I really appreciate the support though. And yes, praying for that day to come sooner rather than later.

My favourite character of my entire life got ERASED FROM EXISTENCE. He went through so much trauma over thousands of years and their resolution to that was letting him KILL HIMSELF instead of healing from it and getting to be happy…

@ineff_ardvark And are we honestly going to act like the writers couldn't have just had God make it so the demons and angels couldn't just leave Aziracrow and everyone and everybody else alone? It was never just an either this, or that choice. It was always multiple choices.

Let's play a little game guys. Would you rather: A. Have things go back to the way it were, before things disappeared but everytjing stays the same. Your abusers are there, the ones you love are in danger of being toyed with, and you're under constant paranoia of being harmed

@ineff_ardvark Beyond the characters, if the option was Your A or Your B, which in the context of the show is to die, have my name, memories, and every experience that makes me "me" taken from me, I would go with option A.

OR You start over. No abusers. Same world but safer. No games. No tricks. Just life with the ones you love. No trauma. And you get to live with your partner in every universe and reincarnation for billions of years to follow.

@morassoflife @ineff_ardvark No. Some of us just wanted everyone to have a happy ending and it was very much feasible and didn't require death, destruction and memory and name wipes.

@ineff_ardvark people lack media literacy and comprehension and think *their* idea of what a ‘happy ending’ looks like overrides every established choice and decision and indication made by the characters they claim to understand so well, don’t bother

@ineff_ardvark Option Three: Everything goes back to the way it was and your abusers are ordered to leave you and everyone and everything you love alone. You have your well deserved revenge of living an eternal happy life.

#go3 - - - It’s not the fact that they are humans, as much as that sucks, it’s the fact that they have no memory. Everything that happened to them that doesn’t matter anymore. Makes it seem like those first two seasons don’t matter because in the end they are just non-existent.

#go3spoilers we will never get to see how Crowley and Aziraphale look kissing each other without any pain or hurt between them. I am… not okay.

@fabledfool Please don't, friend. We've all gotta stick around, even if it's just out of pure spite. Because someday, we're not going to have to keep going through this. Someday, our favorite queer characters will get happy endings with kisses.

@meiziell I'm still in shock over that because I thought there was no way, NO WAY, they'd leave us with just one bitter kiss. I thought we were fucking safe. I thought that there was no way the ending could be beyond just slightly disappointing. I WAS WRONG.

i can't believe i'm saying this but i would seriously rather s2 was never made than have s3's ending. s1 had the perfect ending already and although i loved s2 if it caused this then i'm more than willing to sacrifice it

@broknarrow_ We know Crowley's real name. The writers just stripped it away from him and made it into a stupid surname when it was his CHOSEN NAME.

#go3spoilers we don’t know crowley’s real name nor what happened in 1941 and we haven’t seen crowley’s fall nor crowley and aziraphale going for a picnic or dining at the ritz

@stoliarart Every character deserved to live with their memories, mortality or immortality, identities, sentience, and true names intact. The ending wasn't fair to anyone.

Humanity does not deserve that sacrifice. Crowley and Aziraphale deserve to be happy, to be together, to be themselves. Good Omens fandom deserve a proper ending of this story.

@imtiredasart Honestly, if pretty much every single queer character in media didn't have to constantly die and/or sacrifice themselves for the greater good, I'd be less angry and devastated. But seeing characters like you die over and over again is just so disheartening.

@CathyWriter24 Literal multiple options and somehow, apparently suicide was the best option But we're apparently not looking at it philosophically ig 🤷🏻‍♀️

Also, small reminder, God didn't even make them do a choose heaven and hell or humanity and everything dies. It was just, what wish did you want to have? And then they chose "free will" and everyone died.

#go3spoiler Good Omens was supposed to be a comedy. Not a *haha your favourite characters and the entire world you loved never existed* end. And Good for Asa and Anthony having a relationship, but this isn't what we and THEM deserved.
