Sources confirm Montana is expected to hire Eric Sanders as its defensive coordinator. Sanders spend 2023-2025 at Eastern Washington.
Previously, Sanders worked at Stanford (2015, 2020-22), where he first crossed paths with new Griz head coach Bobby Kennedy.
Sanders also coached in the NFL from 2016-2019.

Hauck is the all-time winningest football coach in Big Sky history, and he recently led the Griz to the national title game in the 2023 season and to the 2025 semifinals. #FCS

I couldn't find any other instance of #MSUBobcatsWBB holding an opponent to one point in a quarter or outscoring a foe by 30 points in a quarter (college women's basketball switched to quarters in 2015).

MSU is two days removed from allowing its fewest points in a game ever to a conference opponent (31). The Bobcats lead Portland State 31-1 after 10 minutes here. Not sure if they've ever held an opponent to 0 points in a quarter, but 1 is quite the performance.
