First part of the Lego Shuttle Carrier Aircraft is done, the prototype space shuttle Enterprise.

I have finally rebuilt my Lego NASA and space/science sets.

Still a lot to do around here. About a hundred Lego sets are waiting for me. About forty Zoids models are also waiting (which have not seen the light of day since 2004). Still have a list of "nice to have" items to whittle down, like a coffee machine, steam mop, etc.

Maybe having a roommate made me move faster this time? Maybe hoping the quicker I get everything down the quicker I can form a social circle and invite people over? Maybe just wanted to have a good home base as this chapter really kicks off?

Day 1 of Year 2 in this apartment. Over the past week, I've rearranged my bedroom -- first major rearrangement, second shuffling of furniture. Might have one more shuffle to do as I'm still considering floor lamp placement. Got my closet reorganized and cleaned up today.

@blackout_abe Yeah, 35 years of being in that house. So much stuff. Especially tables. Dining tables, coffee tables, side tables, end tables, nightstands, console tables. I think tables are my mom's go-to decorating choice, lol.

@blackout_abe You will be fine. I do a purge every year or two because I move apartments about every five years. I have a lot stuff, but it's stuff that's survived the purges. It's always daunting when you start, but it'll be okay.

@blackout_abe Been there, done that, lol. My mom's moving out of the house she's lived in for 35 years. There's been so much stuff there were a couple times we talked about fire as an option.

On the plus side, the work on the inside of the house is going faster than anticipated. It's really looking good. Crossing fingers it's done and can go on the market soon.

Well... probably going back one more time since we did not get the garage fully emptied (in part because we ran out of dumpster space). I think I've instilled in my mom and sister the importance of doing purges every couple years like I do. 35 years of stuff is a lot.
