[Monday Blizzard Update] ❄️Highest snowfall amounts: 18-24 inches with pockets up to 30 inches possible 🚨Greatest risk for tree damage and power outages is in southeast MA and RI where 55-75 mph wind gusts combine with heavy, wet snow. 🕑Heaviest snowfall rates 4 am-noon

Three features producing heavy snow to three localized areas. Almost nothing between. Fascinating to watch, nearly impossible to forecast. Still the entire day to go as these features slowly shift.

SUNDAY-MONDAY SNOW UPDATE We nudged totals upward today with additional moisture in the data. Otherwise, our forecast remains unchanged. Snow will be the biggest factor of this storm. Unlike nor’easters, power outages and coastal flooding will be isolated and minor.

Tuesday Winter Storm Update — Still the same thinking: Mild air and heavy, wet snow will limit totals. This is an impactful storm, but mainly for the interior. Tuesday evening's commute will be very difficult north & west of the city and slow all around. Travel with caution.
