Thankfully you can just watch the condensed movies and that's good enough tbh. Some of the best are shorter OVAs anyway like Stardust Memory and War In The Pocket.

@Shigerious I have only seen the original series from 1979. I want to see the rest of the universal century timeline but its difficult for me to sit down and enjoy any sort of show these days for me, no matter how good it is.
