@NickGibbsIAG I sold on Feb 2. Looks like the worst is over. Didn't buy the bottom but my blood pressure is better for it. Now it looks like war not so bad, Trump kinda smart, inflation who cares, fed rate who cares, Elon make chips. Seems like we can run for a while.

What an amazing week! At least for those who didn’t sell at the bottom. If you have been tracking these posts, you’re in great shape. Dumb luck on my part… maybe. Today looks like we are going to punch higher in the markets. $SPX, $TSLA, $NVDA, $META and so on all seem to have eaten their Wheaties this morning! I remain cautiously optimistic. And it may be time to officially make a big portfolio change. Let’s discuss:

Well… Seems someone has been right a lot lately 👀😂 As of the writing of this, it seems the Iran war is quickly coming to an end. The market is actively positioning for it, and the world is moving on from: 1. Iran war 2. Punishing AI capex spend 3. Questioning of the AI ROI (for now) With $TSLA $META $NVDA $BE $SDNK either waking up or running. We still have a few hurdles you must not get caught on. Let’s discuss:

Happy 8 April (Wednesday) at Giga Texas, especially for those wanting an update on Cybercabs … I saw about 60 of them in two groups in the outbound lot today … the largest grouping yet! Also, looks like at least some of these have white seats and most still have clearly visible steering wheels … I will let you conclude what you wish from that, but these still do not look like the final “production” versions, so perhaps they are testing out some of the new features while testing some of the @robotaxi areas around the country.

It’s TACO TUESDAY! Or is it...? It might be FAFO Tuesday. It might be Deal or No Deal Tuesday. Markets are flat to a little up as optimism grows that a deal for peace and opening the strait is reached before 8pm EST tonight. We are in a binary market for the next 14 hours. Here is what I’m doing, not doing, and my current thoughts on $TSLA as it’s drops below $350.

Here we go! A crazy stock market week begins in 3 hours! Markets are “looking” a little higher. I don’t believe this up move right now. This feels like a trap. Like a big trap. I hope I’m wrong. I’ll explain what I’m doing and what signals tell me I’m likely not wrong. 👀

I went to cash about 3 days before the war started. It was fear plus luck. Problem is when to get back in. I don't believe we can get out of it (war) as soon as is being said. The US gov gets to decide when and how we get into these things but Iran has some say in how we get out. Tesla needs a tailwind to get things reversing. Is it earnings guidance? Surprise in sales? More Elon glowup? Not sure but right now it's still war bad, oil bad, interest rate bad, ....

For everyone surviving the Markets you are surviving the worst month in 4 years! Be proud of yourself. Keep DCA. Keep Trading efficiently. Look forward. @Tesla investors are built different. We go through this about twice a year. Seasoned Vets to say the least.

Another Monday looking hopeful for a bounce.. but we have seen this before. Is this time different? Here’s what I’m thinking and how I’m going to position myself:

@garyblack00 @TSLAFanMtl Mine just saved a dog that ran in front of my Model S today. They could make a commercial on that and sell a bunch.

@TSLAFanMtl $TSLA FSD is a great product. The problem is a total lack of awareness with no advertising.

FSD is only adopted by a small % of people who buy a Tesla - and that's only 2% of people who buy a car. Clearly this is a combination of the consumer not seeing the value - even at $99/month - and not being aware. Tesla is trying to increase awareness with some ads - but it's not nearly enough - but the rate limiter is that most early adopters have been converted and FSD still needs to get a lot better before it goes mainstream.

@NickGibbsIAG I think we're still in a higher for longer market and it won't change until material changes start actually happening. War is over assurances carry zero weight. We're pricing in a protracted war with disrupted oil above $100 for months. Not a crash but not a golden age either.

Everyone says they don't want "Boots on the ground" but this puts us at a disadvantage. All options must be open. So many people think through analogy and it's why the make poor decisions. Boots on the Ground != Iraq forever war Slow housing market != 2008 Housing collapse Recession != Great Recession
