@CricketSharks Are you guys actually nuts?! @ECB_cricket has issued clear guidance on this and you are going against it. How are you planning on ensuring hand hygiene each time someone shines/passes the ball back to the bowler? Seems like an ideal way to spread this around an entire 11...

If the situation does not improve, we will be issuing strict guidelines to all players and spectators to minimise the risk of cross infection. There is no reason why an outdoor, non-contact sport like cricket would be unsafe to participate in as long as everyone is sensible.
