Yes. Hong Kong has two race tracks and the ground is perfect every meeting. We have over 50 in a 100km radius and meetings are getting called off all the time due to inept surfaces. It’s too hard to manage.

I felt we haven't seen enough of Warwoven or Lumbini to be launching into them at those prices. That's the problem with 2YO races. You’re dealing with small datasets, rapidly improving horses, greenness, luck in running, and huge variance. Markets are often dictated by hype, trials, breeding narratives, and stable reputation rather than actual performance. I learnt the hard way with Tornado Valley last week 🤣
