I want to say something about the “I’m back” Mumei tweet quote. I am seeing a lot of you being upset about this being used today, which makes sense you feel such way since she’s important to us. Sorry that you feel this way. But my personal take is that, our little birb, that jokes about her graduation, would probably giggle seeing it. And being a huge Whovian, I have a quote to share with you: “Everything ends and it’s always sad. But everything begins again too. And that’s always happy, be happy.” She would want us to be happy, to stay silly. There were sad times, but it happened already and there’s no changing to that. To pass on her legacy, we have to stay strong, stay together, stay Moomin. That’s what it means to be a Hooman. We keep on holding that spark and walking down the road, the New Start has already begun. Exactly one year ago, I cried for almost 12 hour straight. I couldn’t sleep for 2 days that I called sick for work. I’ve never felt something like this, it’s like everything just gone. Right when I finally I have something I could call home. “What did I do wrong?“ I kept asking myself that. I want to do something but I couldn’t do anything. I can only accept and being powerless. That very moment I feel a thousands regret just streamed into your mind. Why can’t I support her even more? I could do even more in FES but I didn’t do it… The feeling when you want to rewind back time no matter what. Regardless, everyone reminded me on what matters most is that I am here. I am still here to support her. The fact that I am still drawing her is enough. It’s been 11 months since she is gone. The memory are starting to fade away. Everyone I know, I supported, all already moved on to their own path. A newfound home, if you could say that. Yet I’m still here, stuck in past. Hoping that I could rewind time. I miss you, Mumei.🤎🪶
