@RickD_GK While we don't know the entire situation, the lesson here is, respect law enforcement, don't be a smart ass, do what they say. That's how I was raised anyway....

This is harassment in my opinion. All the cops needed to do was ask why he was waiting at the bank, and once they knew, leave the man alone. Sit in the patrol car and wait for the bank to open, etc... I know there are a lot of criminals, and casing a place is part of the M.O., but people also get to banks before they open and wait to get their banking done first thing. Not to mention, another person was waiting in their car as well, and the cops didn't mess with them. What do you think? Too much, or is it ok to interrogate this guy?
