Going to be on a panel for macro and astrology and maybe another about something deep, as you know I do, lol. At its last national convention, the Conservative Party of Quebec adopted a resolution that makes it one of the most pro-Bitcoin political parties on the planet. The resolution was drafted with the help and advice of BULLBITCOIN.COM collaborators. The philosophy is simple: it's not the governments job to either hinder or help the Bitcoin industry, just stay out of the way. Among the policies adopted: - No obligation to declare ownership of Bitcoin to government authorities. - No capital gains when spending Bitcoin, regardless of the amount. Bitcoin is money. - Removal of regulatory hurdles to Bitcoin mining and the right of Bitcoin miners to purchase electricity just like any other industry. The Conservative Party of Quebec has, since its "revival" about 12 years, has had in its militant activist base lots of bitcoiners and Bitcoin entrepreneurs. Finally, we have a clear and simple set of policies that will remove barriers to Bitcoin adoption!
