This is amazing: For the first time, #Bills S Damar Hamlin is addressing the team via Facetime. The breathing tube is out, and he’s spent the morning speaking to various teammates on Facetime. Now, he’s delivering a message to the entire group, I’m told.

Too often we give people their flowers when it's too late. But Damar is fighting. Damar is improving. Damar is still here with us. And hopefully soon, Damar will get to hold those flowers.

There are many days where I read nothing but division & hatred on this app but the last few days has left me in awe. To see how many individuals/organizations have come together to bring support & love to Damar Hamlin & his family has been inspiring.

NFL EVP Troy Vincent says they hope Damar Hamlin will make a full recovery but made clear he will be provided resources/benefits necessary to make sure he had what needed for complete life despite Hamlin not being a vested NFL veteran.
