omnet’s sybil resistance currently stems from the requirement to hold 1m $chilldev This requirement makes Sybil attacking omnet impossible without making all node operators/$chilldev holders extremely wealthy. Eventually as this $chilldev requirement becomes more lax, we will integrate more sophisticated Sybil detection algorithms.

Our hardware will evolve organically over time, fully custom will land ~q2 2026, but we want to get you some more off the shelf options ASAP while we ramp up the custom designs.
Probably will offer an upgrade path so you can evolve your machine as we roll out new hardware.
