@Sinawo_Thambo What audit opinion did the municipality obtain under his leadership?
English

The ANC and its Leagues of cowards must not lie because there is a historical record of why they wanted the EFF out of governance in Ekurhuleni.
It was David Makhura as Head of the OR Tambo Political School who wrote that it is not strategically beneficial for the ANC to be in coalition with the EFF, because the EFF is using governance to eat into their voter base.
It was Jongizizwe Dlabathi, the current Secretary of the ANC in Ekurhuleni and MMC of Finance who wrote to Fikile Mbalula that the relationship with the EFF is not strategic because EFF MMC’s are outperforming ANC ward councillors. The ANC even mobilised people to chase away Thembi Msane from fixing a water and sewage issue out of fear.
It was Mzwandile Masina who said the same things above.
Responsible media would know this, raise this and remind South Africa that the ANC is lying about its reasons to not want the EFF in governance.
There is no corruption or mismanagement of funds that Dunga did in Ekurhuleni, the ANC told all of us that it is not strategic for them to allow the EFF to deliver services to the people. Finish!
English

@Sinawo_Thambo Xhakaza must release details of this guys mismanagement in Ekurhuleni with that so-called City Manager Mashazi, a CM EFF supported and praised. A City that was cash flush with more than 7bn in cash, stood at the precipice of collapse because of Dunga.
English

@GivenSboNkosi @Sinawo_Thambo This comment is extremely embarrassing as it's clear that it's paid and it's using a media narrative. Dunga produced an unqualified audit, and after they removed him, Ekurhuleni received a qualified audit. Kindly explain this picture.

English

@Sinawo_Thambo You and Ranting all over. Do they even allow you in negotiations?
Your Dunga was a chronic absentee. Your Dunga didn't meet budget deadlines. Now you are gossiping here. Sit down and wait for panyaza to apply his mind. You are weak.
English

@CBitchin32999 @GaytonMcK @EFFSouthAfrica You seem to be sounding a bit softer when it comes to the GNU. You're not proposing any change at that level, even after more than a year and a half of GNU, but you're quick to propose changes for the Gauteng government when there is an introduction of the EFF. That's my view.
English

@Ceeyazn @GaytonMcK @EFFSouthAfrica I think it’s ineffective and leaves a lot to be desired. From the outside seems like more infighting and jockeying for positions than actual service delivery. What’s your view Siyabonga?
English

I honestly truly don’t understand the fuzz regarding the appointment of Dunga as MEC of Finance, do you expect @EFFSouthAfrica to give their votes for free, this is not how things work, most importantly the whole coalition crumbles without EFF votes in Gauteng period.
English

@MzamoDudula @GaytonMcK @EFFSouthAfrica Your comment is ill-conceived at many levels. 1. Why when the EFF is involved, dodgy deals & dodgy characters are raised? Is there evidence of the EFF being corrupt when they are in power? The hate for the EFF is mind-boggling. 2. When people vote, they give power to the elected.
English

We voters were all fooled thinking the GNU arrangement would force politicians to hold each other accountable. Instead they became hype men for power, striking dodgy deals with dodgy characters just to protect their privilege & their bag. Voters are watching. This isn’t about citizens, it’s transactional politics as usual. Gauteng deserves better and we will vote better.
English

@GaytonMcK @EFFSouthAfrica I think the system needs to looked at. It’s not working and what happens is certainly not the will of the majority of the voters. I don’t know what the solution is but it’s not this horse trading.
English

@koko_matshela @Eskom_SA Yeah, but this is Mzansi. These institutions of higher learning have denied people their degrees after they met all the requirements, jikijiki at end they point out technicalities.
English

@Am_Blujay Which African country has benefited from democracy? Trying to give the impression that democracy is good for Africa is a fallacy.
English

@JeffDumisani @HermanMashaba The current system doesn't allow everyone to be registered, irrespective of whether they're here illegally or not; therefore, the status quo is indirectly creating illegality.
English

Borderless Africa won’t work because of leadership like Julius Malema and Thabo Mbeki. They don’t care about the poor; the only thing they care about is their own benefit.
If Africa were to open its borders today, South Africa would suffer the most. South African women would be at risk of rape. White South Africans would be targeted and killed. People would forcefully come and take over our belongings in our communities and townships, claiming “Africa for Africans.

English

Brilliant idea?
We love and appreciate our fellow Africans brothers and sisters, but South Africa must be given a chance to sort out our problems first before consideration of open borders.
We come from a difficult evil past, made worse by the compromised ANC in the last 32 years.
Those who wish for a borderless Africa, start it in countries which gained independence long before us.
As South Africans, we will follow developments, and hopefully one day after many years of the removal of the ANC, future generations might consider, depending on the success of the project.
At the moment, count South Africa out.
Simon Sithole@Simon_Sithole20
South Africans 🇿🇦 please share your thoughts on the idea of borderless Africa!! What about the implementation of this brilliant idea??
English

@JeffDumisani @HermanMashaba The moment you comprehend that "borderless" doesn't mean "no passport," the better your argument will be. Europe doesn't have internal borders, but they do have passports. Borderless requires that everyone is registered and their whereabouts can be traced easily.
English

@AfricaisBlack Until the anger at the injustice is directed at those who have power and resources, that's when we will start seeing change. We must stop directing anger at people who are powerless and desperate; whatever wrong they're doing, they're enabled by those with power and resources.
English

Walk through Mayville in Durban, through Diepsloot, through Imizamo Yethu, through any township or informal settlement in this country. Those shacks are full of South Africans, not foreigners. Our own people are living in those conditions every single day. So the idea that foreigners are the cause of shacks or the only ones living in them just isn't true. The real cause is a system that has refused to give black South Africans Land, housing, and dignity for generations. Let's not aim our anger at the wrong target. I say this with respect.

English

@ThamiGatsheni Just for the sake of argument, let's continue from where you are. What happened to the finances after he was removed as MMC for Finance in Ekurhuleni?
English

@Ceeyazn @EFFSouthAfrica After this long conversation do you still believe they are not desperate for positions?

English

PANYAZA LESUFI
People mustn’t read too much into the appointment of Nkululeko Dunga.
We needed the EFF vote, otherwise this government wouldn’t be able to pay public servants or deliver services.
Dunga is holding a ceremonial position, sort of.
I take the decisions on the allocation of budgets.
His role is to draft letters and communicate decisions I’ve already made.
He won’t operate in isolation, he works with my executive.
I felt bad firing Matumo Chiloane. But it had to be done. I needed experienced people.
Lebohang Maile is experienced.
The rest are runners: energetic operators like Faith Mazibuko, Romantic Nkomo, and others.
Doctor Xhakaza couldn't deal with Dunga. I feel my long experience in government will help in dealing with him.
English

@Constitution_94 @EFFSouthAfrica The EFF in the provincial legislature kept the Gauteng government stable when the DA tried to destabilize it.
English

@joy_zelda What exactly are the wrongs mentioned at Mdlanga that are associated with Ekurhuleni EFF? I just have a feeling that it mentally and emotionally disturbs people when EFF is not associated with rot in the current investigation, commissions, and ad hoc committees.
English

His name came up at #MadlangaCommission Yet Panyaza Lesufi still gave him MEC of Finance Position what kind of Leader will he be in Gauteng

English

@Constitution_94 @EFFSouthAfrica Based on what I've seen them do, yes I do believe they're not desperate.
English

@Constitution_94 @EFFSouthAfrica This clearly demonstrates that they're not desperate. They don't just take any position. If they don't get what they believe they deserve, they go to the opposition & play their role to the best of their ability, unless you believe that's wrong.
English

@Ceeyazn @EFFSouthAfrica They complained about shortage of positions given to them and the fact that DUNGA WASNT GIVEN A SPEAKER POSITION
Again, positions positions positions!
GIF
English

@Constitution_94 @EFFSouthAfrica And I never said they *quietly* leave. They leave, qha. When in opposition benches, they must play opposition politics.
English

@Ceeyazn @EFFSouthAfrica I was just pointing out to you that you are actually lying when you say EFF quietly leaves positions.
They fight & threaten to collapse government when removed. They are way too desperate for positions

English
