These days I’ve really cut down on my collabing to focus more on connecting with my community. I couldn’t do what I do without them and I want to be able to give them my undivided attention. I still like being able to hang with my friends too, but I want friends who want to be friends with me too- not just for networking. I feel it really takes the humanity away and it’s sad that some forget we are all people with feelings. So I’m really picky about it now after how I’ve been treated in the past.

I don’t know which VTuber needs to hear this, but… There’s nothing wrong with doing things on your own!!! It’s okay to have a small circle of friends! It’s okay to not force yourself to join every collab offer out of FOMO or for ‘Networking’ purposes. You don’t need to sign up for everything ‘Just in case’ it could help with growth!! Focus on you and your own content, don’t feel guilty to not be someones background character! Real friends will understand you can not join every collab event, they also will not ask you to overexert yourself to be there at odd times if they care about you.
