Our fourth day of #EULabNantes has brought us to the market side of the #Nantes #foodsystem and a new set of tools to try out. After a hard day’s concentration we visit @La_SAUGE and #lAgronaute to learn about #urbanfarming and some shocking revelations about #seeds!!

Day 1 of #EULabNantes where the students began the journey to understand our mission: Nantes: A resilient inclusive (circular) food city by 2050; explored our #EULabToolkit, deeply engaged with Nantes Metropole food strategy, drew toast and learned about composting!!

Day 1 of our #EULabNantes and already some fascinating insights 🧵 #LaurentComeliau from @NantesMetropole pinpointed questions of land use as fundamental to #foodsystems. Trying to balance agriculture, housing and the protection of #biodiversity is critical. 1/n

Another busy morning for #EULabNantes participants @audencia : introduction to new #systemic #design tools by @amreeryan @BusinessAtUL; a talk by social enterprise @CocagneSQY about social inclusion through farming and a Lego session. That's what I call immersive learning!

Today #EULabNantes is focusing on #imagingfutures and we are being helped in this task by visits from #GervaiseDebucquet and #JulianCustot from @jardinsCocagne Nantais, lunch from @VeloaGaufres and #RenelleGaudin from #DiscoBol. @EULab_Community Imagining is fun and liberating!

Learning also involves unlearning, questioning, redoing, repurposing…. It takes time, it can be confusing and frustrating. #EULabNantes is giving us #time, #space and #tools to help us find ways to do this. A real learning journey for participants and faculty.

Day 2 of #EULabNantes included an in-depth dive into cattle farming in the #Nantes area, which represents 80% of local agricultural land, with #DominiqueBarreau from @NantesMetropole and lunch at #MagmaaFoodHall with leftovers going to @AlchimistesCo!

Welcome to #EULabNantes for Day 1 of our pilot Immersive Blended Intensive Module, taking place with our partners @audencia. 13 students + 6 faculty coaches here all week to bring this #MissionBased #Heutagogy model of #Education to the #BusinessSchool.
