It sounds to me like the hundreds of calls I had from customers now realizing they thought they had personal coverage as an endorsement on a “free/included policy” since the leasing agents said insurance is not required or they add it themselves and they don’t realize it’s not the coverage they think it is. How would an apartment even cover your personal belongings? You set the limits, they don’t know how much your belongings are worth. I’ve seen policies with a base of 1500 in coverage 😂 what is that going to cover in a fire if you lose everything?
