Great day presenting a session on “Equine Symmetry and Laterality” at the British Horse Foundation inaugural “Better Beginnings Conference”. A great conference all about managing the horse from foal to 2-years of age.

Busy day starting of with morning of Rider Biomechanics sessions @ Dunstaffanage. Then this afternoon, a great start to our winter webinar series with Prof Kevin Haussler, who presented an excellent session on “Equine chiropractic research and review of the current literature

Great day in Pula, Croatia - great to catch up with Thilo Pfau and @RwRweller - my PhD supervisors, colleagues and friends. Can’t thank them enough for all their help and support in my PhD years, and with the multiple post PhD projects - so great to see them both 😃

And the journey to Croatia begins - having to get the train 🚊 to London Gatwick due to my initial flights being cancelled, meaning I fly back to London Luton🧐Super excited to be speaking at “European College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation” (ECVPMR) Congress 🤞

Busy but super day of research meetings - some exciting projects in the pipeline. Then this evening a great Zoom discussion around saddle fit and design, led by Lucinda Green. Then to finish, a super Zoom with the laterality group - another cool project on the way.

Great day with Sophie Hargreaves from New Zealand. Super excited to share with Sophie our new rider biomechanics equipmemt and discuss our new rider biomechanics research project which Sophie is collaborating with us on.

Great afternoon @ British Equestrian (BEF)- giving a presentation to the BEF Board. A talk feat some of our research and how they are utilised by the British Equestrian Team. Great feedback from the board about our work and future projects (Paris 2024), along with some great q’s.

Great afternoon on our “Recognising, Understanding and Managing Saddle Slip” with Mark Fisher and myself. A highly topical area - affecting so many! With a growing body of evidence, the horse is the primary cause of saddle slip, and not the rider!.

Despite the heat, back from a great day doing pilot testing with Diana Fisher and Mark Fisher for a super exciting new research project. Great to be using new kit and systems to help answer some new questions 🤓🤓

Back from a great day at Hartpury University’s Research & Knowledge Exchange Conference. Great to present some of our work relating to back movement during circular locomotion. Some super research presented by colleagues & past and present PhD students 👍

Back from York after a great day of rider biomechanics sessions - great working with riders, improving their awareness, position and riding. Massive thanks to Lindsey Robshaw for organising and @lesley for hosting. Looking forward to seeing everyone again in September.
