Our very own Mrs. Schlicht and Ms. Folkers presented their research tonight on Professional Development at the CSD Leadership Institute. CMS is so fortunate to have this dynamic duo!

Mr. Lynn's 6th grade ELA classes picked up over 750 pounds of trash today for their service project!! Absolutely incredible!

What does Garden Club do with their first harvest? Make a salad bar of course!

Opening night is tonight for “Beauty and the Beast Jr!” Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7pm! Come support the arts at Center Middle School! You can also come out on Friday or Saturday at 7pm!

Our Garden Club harvested a variety of greens and some of our radishes today. First harvest of 2026!!

Our chess team students have done it again and got another trophy this weekend!!!! Four trophies earned this semester! We are so proud!

Congrats to our athletes that competed at the state meet this weekend! Girls 4x100m took 8th place and Girls 2x200m took 6th place!!!

The numbers are in from our CMS food drive led by Mrs. Schlicht's 6th grade ELA classes!!!! The donations were weighed and we contributed 124 lbs. of food which amounts to approximately 103 meals for people and families in need! 💙💛

Our Black History Production Crew had a wonderful time on their field trip on Friday! We received great feedback from our community and appreciate our students representing CMS so well!

Our climbing club/team has been competing weekly. For week 1, we had Brynn Cheah win first place for middle school girls, and Vivian Holland win second place for middle school girls. CMS also took first place for all middle schools. So proud of our team!

A group of CMS teachers and admin shared their Instructional Framework during district PD this past Friday. CMS teachers are putting in the work to raise academic achievement!

Mrs. Schlicht's ELA students put their learning into action by partnering and serving at Harvesters earlier this week. They were so joy- filled to serve their community. We are so proud of our students and staff. Making a difference and growing academically, together!

CMS had a successful College and Career day on April 1st! A huge thank you to all of our participants that helped to foster ideas and dreams for our students. Also, thank you to Mrs. Deister and Mr. Fab for leading the charge!
