Martial law has not been declared, civilian rights are not being ignored. Majority of this country voted for a president with a strict border policy, including deportations. That’s what they’re getting. Crime has been reduced in DC since federal troops have been deployed and many (not all of course) welcome it. If we see the declaration of martial law, curfews announced, or legal citizens having their rights infringed upon, then I’ll admit I was wrong. None of these things have occurred thus far.
