The overall goal of Central Rift Community Development Program (C.R.C.D.P) is to promote #child-sponsor relation, access to #education, #water, alleviate #poverty and improve #sanitation.

As we mark Safe Internet Day 2026 under the theme “AI Aware: Safe, Smart, and in Control,” we reaffirm our commitment to equipping children with the knowledge and skills to navigate an AI-driven digital world safely, responsibly, and with confidence. #SafeInternetDay

Key discussions also centered on the development of action plans to guide implementation, address emerging challenges, and align program priorities with the needs of families and communities.

The participants reviewed the projected works and program activities planned for the coming period, with a focus on enhancing service delivery, strengthening community participation, and ensuring sustainability of interventions.

Central Rift Community Development Program (CRCDP) successfully conducted its Annual General Meetings (Parents’ Assemblies) across all five implementation sites. The assemblies brought together over 4,000 parents of enrolled children, program staff, and community leaders.

Excited to be part of the #FLANA2025 conversation! CRCDP, as a proud partner of @usawaagenda, will be supporting the Literacy & Numeracy Assessment 2025 in Baringo & Nakuru to address learning gaps and develop targeted solutions that help every child reach their full potential.

But before a single goat was handed over, the families received hands-on training focused on income diversification through dairy goat farming. The sessions were practical and empowering, covering everything from how to properly feed and nourish goats for maximum milk production.

Families in Baringo received German Alpine goats, known for their high milk production and ability to adapt to various climates while those in Elgeyo Marakwet were given Galla goats, a hardy breed that thrives in dry regions and is valued for both milk and meat.

Every family deserves a chance to thrive — and that begins with strong families and resilient communities. This week, CRCDP successfully distributed 71 dairy goats to 71 families of children enrolled in our program across Baringo and Elgeyo Marakwet counties.
