@icope I lived in Phoenix for a year. Even though it really is a nice city and I have friends who live there, it does make a person appreciate mountains and places where it's not 100+ at night.

Photos like this make me question why I'm still living in this fucking Phoenix desert!

@DoubleT973 Any chance y'all will ever fix the chat on the website? The browser edition only lets you post if you have logged in, you can only log in via facebook, and the facebook app is inactive on the site and kicks you to the curb..

It's very interesting to be living in a time when you have a Supreme Court who has been bought and paid for by people who want to return to the pre-1950 America

@theajennda Acting was ok, and yes to many of us who saw it in the theaters, it was the car, Steve McQueen's cool, and the car chase though San Francisco that helped make it one of our favorites 😎

@karenmccay5244 Funny you should mention someone moving there on purpose. I've been pondering relocating to that area, what's it like? All my work is done remote, so jobs aren't an issue....

DOGE was always a scam. 🚨
Kristi Noem spent $220 million on a 60-second ad.
Pete Hegseth spent $93 billion in one month.
Trump handed Big Tech a $51 billion tax break.
But they want you furious about a single mom getting a few dollars in SNAP to feed her kids?
Wake up. The “waste” was never the poor. It was the grift. 💸🔥

Not now NCAA I'm already dealing with other things that I hate.
Pete Thamel@PeteThamel
Sources: The NCAA has initiated the final steps to expand the men’s and women’s NCAA basketball tournaments to 76 teams. The expansion is on track to be formalized in the upcoming weeks, with mid-May as the target. The 76-team tournaments begin next year. espn.com/mens-college-b…

@SwingVoter20 @RepMikeLevin He believes that he who dies with the most wins, what he and his minions ignore is that once he's no longer around, everything he has touched and all who enabled him will go onto the garbage bin of history. He's not creating a dynasty, he's creating a family of outcasts

@RepMikeLevin It’s ridiculous. But we all know he’s working for corporations and not the American people.

Your electricity bills are too high, and the President is spending your tax dollars to keep them that way.
Last month, the Trump administration committed nearly a billion dollars of taxpayer money to pay TotalEnergies, a French oil giant, to walk away from two offshore wind projects that would have powered more than 1.7 million homes on the East Coast.
Yesterday, the administration announced two more deals worth nearly $900 million combined. One of them kills Golden State Wind, a project off the California coast that would have powered more than a million homes.
In every case, the companies have agreed to redirect the money into oil and gas instead.
Why is the administration doing this? Because federal courts have repeatedly struck down Trump’s executive orders trying to block offshore wind. So instead of taking no for an answer, he’s using your money to get companies to quit.
Here is what he is not telling you. Onshore wind and utility-scale solar are the cheapest sources of new electricity in America, and have been for the last decade. That is not my opinion.
More affordable, clean energy means lower bills. More dependence on oil and gas means more exposure to price spikes every time there is a war or supply disruption.
Trump is spending your money to make your energy more expensive and to enrich foreign oil companies in the process.
Call it what it is. A scam.
