Holy crap—that feels better. They drained nearly 100 cc’s of fluid from my armpit. I’ve been started on antibiotics, with the warning that it will likely fill back up. Apparently, the body has an incessant urge to fill any empty space with something. I need a soft place to land!

Update: Post-op today. I am currently cancer-free. The doctor is waiting for the Her2 test to come back, which will determine if I need chemotherapy.
HER2 is a protein that promotes cell growth, but is overexpressed in ~20% of breast cancers. #FuckCancer #FuckYouCancer. 🖕🏻Cancer
